1. Quit bashing thinner women, it serves no purpose, perpetuates hate and plays into the stereotype of fat girls gating thinner women.
2. Enough with the food shots
3. For the love of the gods enough with using the following words: big, juicy, voluptuous
4. Mainly and most importantly, focus on the women as people, and focus on their self esteem, many of the girls seem to portray that if they don’t get picked that they’ll die alone, unwanted and unloved, and then die and get eaten by marauding wolves. Show more of the positive, healthy attitudes about themselves and who they are not their freaking dress size
5. Must you display their weights on the screen? |
Cast Plus Sized Women who are secure and confident about their weight and body image. America now thinks that plus sized women are overly emotional, insecure, desperate women who believe that no one will love them because of their weight. I would recommend boosting the bachelorette’s self esteem by having a spa day or fashion show when they are not spending time with the bachelor. |
Ethnic variety. Black, asian. This is not a weightloss show!!! Why show the weight. These women misrepresent the plus community. FOX has depicted nothing but a chubby circus that disrespects the many self-confident women out there. how about someone with a great self-esteem, or is a plus person who loves themselves "not reality enough"? I will not continue to watch. Many share my opinion. |

Absolutely remove the height and weight of the people on the show. It's obvious they are plus size people... it's degrading that their weight is shown... they don't show that info on the other shows, why now?
"While the idea is interesting I think that portraying the woman as "desperate" and never been on a date is a little ridiculous. There are plenty of interesting beautiful and successful plus sized woman that date and the fact that you date a number of women saying this was their "last chance" only perpetuates the stereotype of plus sized woman everywhere. Andy why was it necessary to display the woman's weight? That was extremely offensive." |
